Augie

Augie was surrendered by a private owner primarily due to noise. While working at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, his owner had adopted him into her house, where Augie had been an educational animal but was a biter.

Though much quieter than many of the larger birds at BPAS, Augie can still be noisy! He mimics sounds, and loves to whistle and says, “pretty bird,” and “hello”. Augie loves to fly around his indoor habitat and prefers hanging out on the highest platforms.
