Freya is a part of ‘The Frankfort Four’ – All four of these foxes were born in 2025 at the Frankfort TPA Park Zoo in Indiana. This unaccredited zoo closed down in 2025 due to many USDA violations.

“Routine inspections by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, between July and December 2024, cited Frankfort’s petting zoo with one critical and seven non-critical violations. The USDA discovered that 78 birds, over half of the zoo’s small birds, died of unknown causes. Several mammals died at the zoo, too. In January, an alpaca died from an unknown infection. A Purdue veterinary team said the death was due to, ‘nutrition-related issues, likely stemming from dental health concerns.’” –WISHTV

Aphrodite, Calliope, and Freya are all sisters. Calliope seems to run the show among them.
