Friends of Black Pine

The Friends of Black Pine is a working group of volunteers, led by a steering committee, who help develop, organize, and plan special events and other initiatives to help build sustainable funding streams to carry out Black Pine's mission. This group supports the overall development efforts of the leadership team.

The steering committee may meet several times a year at area eateries, usually on weekday evenings, to help ensure the sub-committees are working effectively. "Friends" may serve on the steering committee, or on any sub-committee, so the commitment of time required may only be a few hours to help with a single event, or more, depending on the level of engagement. Minimum levels of service may apply, at the discretion of the steering committee and/or sub-committee chairs.
