Refuge
For the REST of Their Lives
We exist to provide refuge to displaced, captive-raised exotic animals for the REST of their lives and to educate people about responsible animal care and conservation.

Staff Guided Tours Only
Visit the Animal Sanctuary
A variety of educational programs are offered throughout the year to enhance people’s knowledge of exotic and endangered species. Animals are not locked out “on exhibit” for the benefit of visitors. Animals will have the option to be indoors, outdoors, visible, or hidden. To visit please make a reservation.
Due to CoVID 19 Black Pine has had to change our procedures with regards to visitation. Black Pine is open to the public thru October for staff guided tours only. Tours are available Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Feeding Tours are available on Saturday & Sunday late May – October. Reservations are required. Please go to the “Visit/Tours” tab to make your reservations. Reservations are not available via phone. Tigers, Canines and Primates are all susceptible to the virus and in order to keep our animals and staff safe MASKS are required. We thank you for your cooperation.
