The animals at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary each have their own story and have become residents for different reasons. The sanctuary provides a unique educational opportunity for guests to learn about the animals, and see them up close, on the animals’ terms. Included in the over 75 animals are endangered species, elusive nocturnal animals, and chatty tropical birds. Each year we receive dozens of requests to re-home additional animals. Though it is not possible to accept all surrender requests, if we have the resources, space, and funding we accept as many as possible. So, from year to year there are always new animal residents to meet, learn about, and see at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary.
